It has been a very busy month, with Rodeo's, PBR Finals working cattle and putting the Sale Catalog together. We had a couple of weeks off in September so we played catch up at home working cattle and weaning bucking horse colts. Bakersfield Rodeo went well the old timers stepped up an bucked some guys off, we only had 5 rides in two nites, the old warriors  are still hanging in there. Industry Hills Rodeo is such a beautiful facility and a great place to buck young bulls. The 3 yr olds got the call along with a few 4 year olds. I have to say they were all good, just a couple got lost in the big indoor arena.

  Brawley Cattle Call Rodeo is up next November 13-14, NFR is December 2nd to the 11th. California Circuit Finals is in Las Vegas this year January 13-14 along with PBR in Sacramento and then on to Anaheim next week. Winter is  upon us so the feedlot is getting in shap to take all the bulls.

PBR FINALS UPDATE

  It was a home run for Reindeer son "Bushwacker", he won the first round of the Classic. He then went on the win the Classic World Champion Bull with a check for $ 250,000 and $ 80,000 in winnings throughout the year. Bushwacker ended splitting 2nd for the Bull of Year, quite an accomplishment for a four year old. The Breeder of the Year was awarded to Cotton Rosser (Flying U Rodeo) Cindy Rosser/Julio Moreno for breeding and raising Bushwacker. That has been a 3 time award for this family Mikel J Moreno awarded the 2003 Breeder of the Year in the Rodeo Stock Registry(prior to ABBI ) 2007 for Troubadour and then for Bushwacker. Alot of great bulls have come off this ranch. With super sires like Whitewater, Typhoon an Reindeer.The future is Big Mike, Bring It, Domino, Hawaiian Ivory and of course Reindeer.
